Who Can Apply
You're eligible for CAP 2026 if you have:
- Passed HSC (Class 12) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, plus any one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology
- Minimum 45% aggregate in Class 12 (40% for Maharashtra Reserved categories — OBC, SC, ST, EWS, VJ/NT/DT)
- A valid MHT CET 2026 score OR a valid JEE Main 2026 score
Documents to Keep Ready
- MHT CET 2026 scorecard (or JEE Main 2026 scorecard)
- Class 10 marksheet (date of birth proof)
- Class 12 marksheet and passing certificate
- Maharashtra domicile certificate
- Category certificate (OBC / SC / ST / EWS / VJ — if applicable)
- Non-creamy layer certificate (OBC / EWS — if applicable)
- Valid photo ID (Aadhar card or passport)
- Gap certificate (if there was a gap year after Class 12)
What Happens After the Merit List
Once the final merit list is published (July 24), you fill the option form on the official CAP portal — listing colleges and branches in your preferred order. CAP runs 4 rounds (Round I to IV), giving you multiple chances to improve your allotment.
